Why Did God Get-onto Sarai for Doing the Same Thing Abram Did?

Sarah laughed when she heard God say she'd bear a son; and God reprimanded her, despite the fact that Abraham did the same thing previously!

Why is SHE wrong & -HE not wrong?

The only difference written is the posture---he "fell on his face" while she--apparently--did not.

Then again, Abram's laughter may have been more of a 'Wonder of Wonders, Miracle of Miracles'-type, unbelievably-happy laughter (as I might feel when some outstanding woman mercifully marries the unworthy chunk`ofugly I am); whereas with Sarai, it was more 'Oh, He's just kidding---He's so funny!' laugh.

I think you're on the right track there.Sari didn't have the same strength of faith in God's promise as Abram.That's why she was the one who decided to use human means to try to bring about God's promise.(which turned into a big headache for everyone involved!)
