i'm going with the beatles, and elvis ties for second.
never was a big jackson fan (or 80s music fan for that matter)
although i do enjoy a few jackson 5 songs.

Very nice!  I've only seen them once, a couple years ago (when Geddy's amps were the chicken rotisseries.)  Great show, phenomenal musicians.

i'm a huge beatles fan ^_^ always have been, always will be.

elvis was decent, to say the very LEAST.

and i can see why you would put michael jackson in that list, i get that he was a major icon for music. but for me, personally, he doesn't belong in there. i never liked him.

don't like any of them.  meet the beatle's in europe before they were famous -- didn't like them or their music.  and you thought lucy in the shy with diamonds was about lucy and diamonds.  what a terrible road these artists have taken young people down.

So is this thread essentially a "who's your favorite" thread? Best is relative to one's opinion I guess. So I'll say the Beatles, just because I prefer their music. I dig some of Michael's music, as well, so he comes in second. I never really got into Elvis, however, so he's third on my list.
