The debt does not matter. At all. Do you even know what you're talking about when you say "the debt"?  Do you know how debt works?

I think we will be about the same.  Big change takes time and decades do not seem to change...too much.  I hope to see the economy come back and people to find joy again in simple things.  I wish everyone well and have a great week.

At the rate we are going now, we will be in dire straights (isn't that a band??).  Our country can't take much more of a spiral downfall as far as morals and ethics go.  Our nation will be judged for the sins that we are being forced to accept.  Just look how fast our nation has declined over the fast five years!!!
Have a wonderful day!

It's true that the U.S. isn't as powerful  as it once was - just look at our education system.

On the other hand, there will always be small businesses. For those who get a higher education, there will always be white collar type of jobs.

Manufacturing isn't what it used to be because we're competing against labor that can be bought for chump change in countries like China.

If more people were truly concerned about the jobs in this nation, they would only buy American-made products. Unfortunately a lot of people complain about jobs going overseas and then turn around and buy a shirt made in Taiwan.  ::)

"un" developed. Outsourced all of our jobs and no one will be able to find work. We gave up being a self sustaining nation and culture. Americans work more than people in most other developed nations and with less time off. We are working ourselves to death for jobs that are disappearing... sad.

Sort of a catch-22. The Taiwan shirts are cheaper. I remember when Wal-Mart first opened many many moons ago, they were a "made in America" store and almost went under bc people wouldn't pay the higher prices, so to compete they started selling cheaper stuff at lower prices... Around and around we go.
