I don't do tasks very often as I find them pretty tedious and boring. But they are a good way to make money if you don't really have other things to do during the day.

They are a great way to make more, especially if one doesn't qualify for very many surveys......like me!!

I definitely think it's possible, I just don't see how they do it because after an hr or two my head starts to hurt from looking at the screen that long. I guess it takes lots of practice and you can get use to it. Keep at it, good luck!

I have never been approved for a task they seem to take to long and I can't pass the practice test.  I would like to earn money that way but I guess its just not in the cards for me.  If anyone know what I can be doing wrong can you explain  a little better on how to do these tasks?

I always do the straighforward tasks they are easy  i am with you not good with most of them never pass the practice test

Good question.  I also love tasks and am just amazed at those who are bringing down the big, big bucks with them.  It also seems to me like I do as many of them as I can pile in and can just never get the totals they seem to get.  I have found one certain one this month that seems to be working great for me.  There is one in the list now that is simply writing descriptive words for a photograph.  That one is one that will give you page after page of work to do as long as your words stay accurately descriptive of the photo - and the task offers a good bonus for good, consistent work.  I have done over a hundred pages of that task already this month, plus lots of the simple Google search ones.  I also have done the bookmarklet tasks, but they are my least favorite as I have had trouble with a few of those.  But, yes, there is money in tasks if you just keep trying.  When I first got here, I did not like them much, either, but did them just to push up my balance.  But then I got used to them and now I depend on them.

I do not believe that they are doing many more tasks than you are doing, I believe that they have a list of higher paying tasks that pas between 50 cent and a $1.00.

The task list is the same for everyone. It all depends on how much time and effort one is willing to put into it. I've been spending a lot of time on them this month because I am determined to stay at the top of the leaderboard for just one month before I back off some to spend more time on other endeavors. $$$

IceKittyNM is right, we are all working off the same tasks list. However, Crowdflower does offer Skill Tests on their site that are supposed to open up more opportunities to members who do well on those. I haven't really seen a difference from the ones I passed though.

The task list might be the same when it is first generated, might, but the good ones are gobbled up right away but it seems that you can only do so many of a certain one at a certain time.  I am not working right now so I am on here constantly refreshing the task screen and when I see 3 tasks that are listed and it says there is no work available or the task is almost complete then I see the leaderboard a few mins later, and people have earned a few more cents (or dollars) I have to question whether the task lists are the same.  Like I said I don't have a mobile device or tablet so I know I am missing out on some tasks, but still am bewildered about the significant differences on the leaderboard.

Less than 20% of my earnings currently comes from tasks and I have only been on this site since mid December.
