Does your dog keep you active?
« on: February 13, 2014, 07:38:57 am »
I know if it weren't for my dog, I probably wouldn't get out of the house ... with my disability, I'm tired all the time with little to no enthusiasm to move ... BUT I can't let my dog be house bound!  So I take her for a walk almost every day.  I think in some ways having a dog has saved my from just merging into my bed and becoming one with it.

So THANKS GG, my little bo girl! :dog:

I'm a pet sitter so yes....my dogs keep me active as well as my clients dogs.  Dogs are perfect to get you to spend time outdoors.  I'm always telling the dogs to go outside and enjoy the day...and I tell my roommates and myself the same thing.  Outdoors does a body good...

I know that animals are wonderful for keeping you healthy.   :dog:  I don't know how I'd ever afford one again since veterinary bills are so high! Kudos to those of your who get out and exercise with your pets.I think that's fantastic.  :monkey:
