WHY ARE CHICKENS SO MEAN TO EACH OTHER???

Chickens are mean, I know when I was a child growing up on a farm I have been chased and pecked by chickens.

Once upon a time long ago ... my ex and I had a horse.  You had to go through his gramdna's chicken yard to get to that horse.  It used to take me quite some time to work up the nerve to RUN thru those little chickens.  And here I was getting ready to ride a 16.5 hands high 3 y/o stallion! and I was afraid of chickens!  Chuckle.  It makes me laugh to this day, however, when I was little, I did get spurred in the stomach by a rooster, so I think my fear was sorta justified.  Chuckle

I believe it's their way of protecting themselves from getting sick and dieing out.  Not fun, but everything does it.

Animals still have fine honed survival skills. They pick on any other animal that they think will let them get away with it. We can't understand it but it's their way of life. It's not only chickens but any animals.

and any animals include human beings. " why do chickens hate each other?" = why do humans hate each other?
