SICK DAY
« on: March 17, 2014, 08:21:32 am »
Today I was awaken in the middle of the night with knee pain, so when my clock went off at 6:30am I had to call into work for a sick day. My knee is swollen and hurts a lot. I have osteoarthristis. So I wll be taking motrin and doing ice packs all day.

Have you had to take off a day recently for any illiness?

I haven't had any sicknesses (knock on wood), but I've used sick days (mental days is what they call it at work) to relax from the stress of co-workers..

I just got over a cold that had me sleeping for a couple days.  No fun - I hope you are feeling better soon.

Fortunately, no, I have not had to take off because of (my) illness.  This time last year I was off quite a bit for about six weeks due to my mother's illness.  The hospital that she was in made her condition so worse that she had to be transferred to a university hospital.

The girl I work with misses a day every week or at least every other week because she thinks she is sick.  It's usually Monday mornings when she can't make it in.
Have a wonderful day!

I hate people like that.  And the sad thing is that is usually who gets moved up first.   Grrr.
