One of my favorite shows used to be Northern Exposure.  I cried when the last show ran.  I remember watching MASH, Friends was fabulous.  I can't decide if I like the way How I Met Your Mother Ended.  I didn't want her to die, that was out of nowhere.  But true love seemed to win out.
   

I read that the authors of the show had the ending planned out at the end of the first season and had taped the kids at that time. The show then ran for I think 9 years so they had to use the ending that they had already taped, as the kids were now grown adults.

I was a big fan of The Fugitive and i loved the 2 part ending when he was found innocent.

I also thought the movie when it came out in the 90s was VERY good too!!

I don't like HIMYM, but I think its fans deserved a better finale. I was offended for their fans.

I loved The Office's finale. Yes, the show's quality certainly went down but the way it wrapped up was just perfect. Friends' finale was good too, predictable as it was, but yeah.

I loved the ending to Frasier.  I think that was one of the few finales that did justice to the series.  It's just sad it got overshadowed by the Friends ending which aired the week before.

I remember the last episode of Breaking Bad and thinking it was a good ending. Walt finally gets caught for killing so many people and for his meth making, although he is going to die soon anyway of cancer. His son gets cared for moneywise without him knowing the money comes from Walt. Jesse is still living at the end of the show too so none of the good characters get killed off.

I really enjoyed the ending of How I Met Your Mother was what I wanted from the beginning and The Walking dead more interesting again.

I liked the final episode to HIMYM.  Other series finales I recall watching are Friends (that was good), Seinfeld (too funny, not what I expected), Eureka (still miss that show), Little House on the Prairie, Newhart (far too funny at the expense of the Dallas fiasco), and Burn Notice (great ending, very appropriate for the show).

I don't watch those types of shows much anymore.  To me, they are not as good these days.  I think the M.A.S.H. series was top notch and its final episode was my favorite.

I loved Lost. It was not on but 6 seasons but I remember when it ended. I was so upset for different reasons. I was upset that it ended the way it did and upset b/c it was going over. I even cried. I hate it when my shows end.

I was a little disappointed in how lost ended. I thought it was a great show while it was on.

Yeah a part of me thought they were all dead and this was somewhat hell for them. I was also upset how it ended but the show was really good.

Okay, I will admit that I cried through the finale of ''Friends", especially Monica bringing home the twins and all six of them laying their keys on the counter.  That was a good wrap-up.

The end of "How I Met Your Mother" tonight was WAIT FOR IT........LEGEND - ARY.  It was great.

The final "Cheers" was a real tear-jerker, too.

I don't remember seeing the end to any long running series.  "How I Met Your Mother" was probably the first one I was really dreading the end of.  I'm sure there are other series that have ended, but none spring to mind.
