JediJohnnie, actually when they wrapped up How I Met Your Mother, it came out in the end that the mother had actually already passed and the kids talked with Ted about how he should be with Robin.  It was a bit shocking, a bit predictable, but a great wrap-up.

I thought the finale was poorly written and rushed. It just didn't fit with the rest of the season, or the previous seasons for that matter. It was disappointing.

I'm wondering how they're going to end Warehouse 13 as this is its last season.  Just caught a commercial that it's the final Raising Hope this month too.  Not sure if that one aired yet - got about a month's worth of TV watching to catch up on.

Ok,thanks.

That's interesting.I thought Robin was going to marry Barney? As you can tell,I hardly kept up with the show in recent seasons. When Barney's womanizing started reaching cartoony levels,I started losing interest.lol

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!

Tonight was "How I met your mother" last episode.  Do you remember any other last episodes from long running TV hits and did you like how they ended. I remember watching the final MASH episode when I was young, it was OK.
Looking to my NCIS last episodes. They are always a surprise and really change the next year. It makes you wait all summer for the new year to begin in Sept. Love that. Other shows start and stop their seasons differently. I think that is because they get more viewers. One of those shows is Almost Human. Waiting for the new 24!

I do remember many shows that ended. I would much rather see an ending to a show, then to have the networks just cancel them and you get no closer of the show

I think Robin married barney and then they got divorced. I thought Robin had a lot of chances throughout the years so it was somewhat anti-climatic that she got him.

I saw the Seinfeld finale and thought it was dumb how it had them going to jail.

As far as long running shows go I think The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Roseanne, Angel and Psych are the ones I remember the most. If five seasons/years counts as long running, then I would add Leverage in there also. I know there are other shows I used to follow, but these five (at least at the moment) are the ones that really stand out for me. (I can vaguely recall 21 Jump Street, Highlander, Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess too. lol)

At this time of the year, most shows are showing the last episodes.  But it looks like a lot of them are doing a flip and showing the last episodes in February and starting with the new Episodesnin June.  I have noticed this on a lot of the shows.
