Other than getting some social experience my education which is obsolete now was pretty much a waste of money, and I graduated in 1986 and I'm still paying my student loan lol :o ;D 8)

I graduated with 2 degrees from the university, then about a decade later I went back for a 3rd degree in the field I was working (as our contract at the time was in danger of not being renewed, so I needed the degree in case I needed to get a job as I didn't have the years of experience at the time).

Now, I'm considering maybe going back for an Accounting degree, but probably I'd study for certifications instead of degrees (like Microsoft or Oracle certifications) - those will probably be more valuable to me presently.

I don't have the money to.  If I did sure.  I have a degree but honestly I feel like I don't have any real skills so if I had the money I'd go back to school for a different career that would make me more money than I'm making now.

I would love to go back to school if I didn't have money making as my main priority! I am up at a quarter past four in the morning and get to bed a tad after eleven every night.  I made it a priority to get anywhere from twenty four minutes to forty six minutes of workout in every morning so sleep time suffers as a result of wanting to be more physically healthy...how wacked is that! Saturdays and Sundays are a little better because it is rare that I will work more than twelve hours on those two days. I'm so busy that I have to take eight hours worth of continuing education (for my second job) while I am at my first job!

I don't know.  It would be nice to know more about my career, but I don't know if it would be really worth it.  I would love learning more about some other things, but I don't know if I'd go back for what I studied.

I'll be learning as long as I'm alive.  I'm always trying to stuff more knowledge into my head.  :glasses-nerdy:

Do you want to continue your education? Or are you done with school. I have graduated
from college years ago and then years later had to start my career over after losing a job.
I attended school after losing my job and now I am done.
I do not have the energy to go back to school to learn anything else.
I will use the online programs if my interest is peaked to learn
Something else.

What about you?
I'm done with education. Headache of student loan. Cost much. Even you finished you education there will be one thing you head students loan have pay back and taking most of your life..

I would like to go back to college, but I would like for my daughter to get her degree first.

I completed my schooling at Ashford University in January 2014 and was worried about the money I already owe to the school.  I have gotten e-mails from the school offering me a chance to acquire my Master's degree (I was an undergraduate and, at the time I completed, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minor degree in Information Systems).  I explained that to the lady who sent me the e-mail, and she tells me I am eligible for additional grant and loan money because I am now a graduate.  I asked her how long the courses are and she told me 15 months to 2 years.  I am considering going for my Master's degree.  To oldbuddy, I don't think 75 is too old to go back to school, when I have heard of a woman who earned her degree at 81 years old.  That is the dedication and perseverance that makes the champions of the world.    :rainbow:

If I have it within my budget I would definitely go back. But I have no clue what I will be interested at this point of my life as far as a major. But I do like to start something new and exciting.
