The woman who killed 7 of her children in a decade

I heard about this, how did her husband not know she was pregnant? I hope the whole story comes out and she gets what is coming to her.

Exactly! She gave birth 7 times and he didn't know? Yeah, I don't believe that. He's sick and she's sicker.

I was watching the news and heard about this woman who killed 7 of her children over a decade.  She put the bodies in boxes and her husband ran across one of the bodies when he was cleaning out the garage; the police found the other 6 bodies.  If she didn't want the children, there were other ways to do it other than that.  She could have put them up for adoption; instead she chose to kill them and end their lives.  I think it is a travesty and it is sad.  I would rather see the child being given a chance at life than to rip the life out of the child.  She needs help.  What do you think?

Agreed.  With so many couples out there that can't conceive on their own, these children could have had a chance at life.  What gets me is that there were SEVEN.  Really?  You would have thought by now that this woman AND her husband would have found a way to PREVENT an unwanted pregnancy.  There's no excuse for this.  If she's still of child bearing age, they should send her to a VET for a spay, then lock up her up for murder.  You can't fix stupid.

I just don't understand people like that..I know it has to be a medical condition..At least that's what I would like to think anyway..But there are too many people who would be willing to take the kids..so many people out there who can't have any,who would have willingly took them just to have the chance at a child..They just wouldn't want me to be the judge..That much I know..I lost my last one when she was 8 months old and I just don't understand how someone could take their child's life..It's very very sad...

Yes, I heard about this as well. It is HORRIFIC! There are so many people out there who want kids and can't have them. She could have easily given them up for adoption! And I am against abortion, but for crying out loud, if she really didn't want them, she could of just had an early abortion instead of waiting full term, giving birth to them, and then killing them! She is a monster and needs to be wiped off the face of this planet.

I agree.  If she didn't want any children, way keep having them.  There are plenty of birth control options out there that she could have used to prevent pregnancy.

She has living children already apparently, but the story is extremely disturbing. I don't know how people cannot keep track of a woman who happens to be pregnant during these times, unless she really secludes herself. I really wonder who happens to be the father(s) here.

She admitted to police that she strangled or suffocated them and put them in cardboard boxes.  She is not being charged for the last child's being dead because it was found to be stillborn.  She has a $6 million dollar bail and has been charged with 6 counts of first degree murder.  I will be following this case because I want to see how the courts in Utah sentences her.  I see nothing good coming out of it.  I have heard it said that people in prison frown upon child molesters and killers of children.  She will get hers in the end.  This is one case that really has me upset.  I want to know how many jurors will be objective in this case, because I don't see people being objective when it comes to this.

I totally agree. I also heard this on the news and found it to be very sad. However what was really strange, was that a neighbor said she always looked very skinny and they never noticed her looking pregnant. So I'm wondering if the babies weren't hers. For the majority of us, it is very difficult to hide a pregnancy, especially in the later stages. Is it possible she kidnapped them, or killed them for someone else. Either way, it is very sad, especially in light of the fact that, as you say, she could have given them up for adoption.

One of the articles I read about this stated that a neighbor reported she was always gaining and losing weight, which could account for the pregnancies.  A few women just do not show their pregnancies as much as most and if she was one of them, wore large, loose clothing and talked about gaining weight--I can see where she could have pulled it off.  I knew a woman who did not know she was pregnant and was worried she had a tumor until she finally went to the doctor right before delivering the baby.

I can't figure out how someone could do such a thing.  Not even once but 7 times!
