Amazon Visa Card help!

So I was thinking about applying for an Amazon Visa card so I can buy crap now and pay later.  But I have seen that you have to pay a processing fee of over $100 when you get a credit card in the mail.  Does the same apply to the Amazon card?  It just seems too good to be true.
