I still watch cartoons but not as much as I did growing up. I do not like most of the current ones.

Yes, I agree that the current cartoons are not as good as when I was growing up.  Even my kids, some of the cartoons were violent.  Violence, even in a funny setting, isn't something for kids to watch.  I think it desensitizes them to the reality ... altho ... the tom & jerry, tweety/Sylvester - that I grew up with - heck those were violent too so now I'm not sure what has desensitized kids ... ? too much exposure TMI ... sorry, I ramble ...

Violent cartoons are fine as long as they are done well (ie. Avatar the Last Airbender). I liked the cartoon, Ben 10, but its latest series, Ben 10 Omniverse, doesn't feel as good as the original or previous series because of the odd art style and it tries to be funny.

No, I don't watch cartoons anymore.  They just aren't the same.  In my day I loved the cartoon Top Cat-it was one of m favorites.

Yes, I watch  cartoons because my daughter loves them. I must say that I still
enjoy them. It makes you feel like your re-living your child hood.
