Yeah, my husband has a recent degree and is even having troubles looking for work.  It could be the economy, not sure.

Do you have a resume posted at indeed.com or monster.com?

I am thankful to have a job right now. It took me almost a year to get the job I currently have. I have a friend that has been looking since last summer and cannot find full time work. So awful.

A great Summer job is washing cars.  As long as you don't charge too much you should have plenty of takers.

Don't give up.Try temp agencies and the unemployment office. Check craigslist for part time. Most companies advertise for work  on the Internet. Good Luck job hunting!

Businesses really are not hiring on any significant level for a lot of reasons. You might consider doing something on your own, might consider hiring out as a driver for folks that need a lift, pick up and deliver groceries (get the money first :), or have to customer pay online), visit dogs/cats for those on vacation, just let your mind wander a bit on things folks might be willing to pay for... just a thought or two

For that you can thank THE TRAITOR-IN-CHIEF - you know, the brainless one who thinks raising the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour will MAKE THE ECONOMY STRONGER!!!!  The DUNCE has done nothing but TAKE AWAY JOBS FROM AMERICANS SINCE HE'S BEEN IN OFFICE.  YOU WANT A SUMMER JOB - IF YOU'RE 18 YRS. OR OLDER - MAKE SURE YOU VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS A BRAIN TO BE THE PRESIDENT AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, THINGS WILL START TO SLOWLY GET BETTER AND YOU MIGHT HAVE A BETTER CHANCE AT GETTING THAT JOB!!!!!!!

I can relate to your situation but it would take far to long to explain my messed up situation out. I do so ever can tell you what one of my friends did. He went to a temp agency but was pacific on what type of job he wanted (he took every PC job) & got noticed by a major company & still currently work @ the company (& makes a high pay).
So don't give up and be pacific on what you want then practice practice practice as a temp till you get the job you want. :cat:

I'm not sure how old you are, but I know that a lot of people need dog walkers. I was surprised when I checked a help wanted site and saw that they pay a decent amount. Then again try fast food restaurants, or maybe a car wash. Good luck.
