What's the error message you get? If I remembered correctly, I verified using my cell phone (a smart phone) and it worked fine.

I'm verified with my tracfone.

I had trouble with it accepting my land line, had to send in a note to contact.

I had no problems using my cell phone. I have a smart phone and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Maybe you should submit a support ticket.

I would send a support ticket.  I only have cell phones and never had a problem.  Is your cell number a number that is  in your area?  My cousin lives in New York, but still uses her cell number that she got while living in PA.  That might be a problem because they don't recognize it.  If not, do the support ticked.  Good luck
