:(  :'( Yes we need rain in Texas.

Dear Lord I join in prayer with all our farmers needing rain for their crops and lakes. Please send Texas some rain. Amen.

I will definitely keep Texas in my prayers! I will pray that their drought will come to an end with ever lasting rain that lasts for 2 days! Heavenly father, please open up your sky and fill this land with your loving rainfalls. I pray in Jesus' name, thanks be to GOD! Amen!  :angel11:

I live in Texas and we finally received some much needed rainfall - 6 inches - over the Memorial Day holiday.  It's not a drought breaker but it is a welcome relief.  So for now, thankfully, our prayers have been answered.

Yes we are in drought.. It will take a bibilical 40 days and 40 nights of rain to bring our lakes back to where they need to be.. What's even funnier is when people complain round here complain when it rain's when we barely get it.. I love rain i'm looking forward to the forcast of showers It gives the yard a good ol much needed drink of water and the roses too! I wish i had the ability to make rain it  i would make it rain everyday but not to much were i flood everyone out LOL that wouldn't be good :3

Texas is as bad off as my state of california when it comes to rain. Rivers & lakes all drying up & alot of empty farmers fields in central california just sitting there collecting dust. It doesn't need to rain for 40 days and 40 nights to get out of it lol. It just constant steady rainfall every year for a few years would do that but it has to be constant not inconsistent or it wont work

There been a few documented cases of Indian rain dances actually working but there's no proof if they actually caused it to rain or not but before that the places usually had no rain for quite a while so who really knows what's going on there. Some things you just can't explain

But you actually CAN explain why it does or doesn't rain though.

It is really a bad situation in California and Texas.  I hate seeing them pull up citrus trees because they cannot come back from the drought.  I sure hope this is really as they keep saying an El Nino year is on its way, that would do a lot toward relieving the  lack of water.

This is not true.  Just because you want something and you believe you will get it and you pray for it does not mean God will give it to you.
