I went out and watched the X-Men Future Days Past with my family and enjoyed it. I was expecting something a bit different, but still had fun. I was originally going to see the Spiderman 2 movie as the X-Men movie just came out and I didn't want to fuss with the crowd, but I was out voted.

I put my winter clothes way and took out my summer clothes.

I spent the day with my family.  We had visited the cemeteries on Saturday.
Have a wonderful day!

I'm ashamed to say I don't do anything for Memorial Day. :( Our fallen troops were in my heart and mind, but I did nothing like paying respects or BBQing or things like that. :-\ I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend, though! Still can't believe  how far we're already into May....!!! :clover:

I spent the day with my husband's family. It was a good day. We too are very thankful for those who lost their lives so we could still remain free.

Every year we try and grill out on memorial day.  Play ball and visit with family.  This year I didn't do much as far as activities go.  Being pregnant and starting to pop out a bit I'm not confident in my athleticism.  I did however feel great and was able to "man" the kitchen with plenty of energy.  Made my first poke cake and served it with berries that had been soaking in strawberry cool-aid.  Forgot how tart blackberries are.  My Mother-in-law visited with us this year which was different.  The big kids "hung out" and my youngest (poor thing) fought heat stroke all day.

You should watch the documentary Blackfish.  You'll never go to Sea World again.  That place is disgusting.

Day off so I went to the doctors office .  This way I did not have to use a vacation day.

I slept, did some meal planning, worked out. Also slept. Did I mention slept? I was going to go to a barbeque because who doesn't love free food but I just didn't feel up for changing out of sweats lol.

Yes I enjoyed the times I did not have to work. I did some floating on the river. I did some shopping and got some sale bargains. Then last night I watched war movies. Great top-off for our fallen heros.
