Do you include your pets as a family member? Why or why not?

Unfortunately our dog is.....he pees everywhere all the time! He is never caught and is marking.....I wish he wasn't so much a part of the family! This is ridiculous!!

I love my pets.  They in some ways are part of the family.  I don't buy gifts for them and stuff like that.  When they die.  No  ceremony. Other than that I take care of them, food, water and play.   So I guess they are pets, animals.

Oh yes most assuredly even though all three of them can be a pain in the behind.  We have two cats that scratch things we don't want them to scratch and have ruined some good furniture but my boys love them dearly so ............ also we have a shih tzu that has had accidents on my cream colored carpet.  But we love them all too much to do anything but continue loving them.  :cat:  :dog:

My dog is my baby. She sleeps in the bed, gets presents for holiday and people ask about her when they ask about the rest of the family

All our pets are part of the family.  We love them and give them presents at Christmas.

I consider my girl cat one of my babies. I buy for her, feed her and protect her from harm, which is what we do to our children as well, so why not. Some of my friends do that as well. I feel like this, if you're gonna have a pet, why would you just give them a bowl of food and water and keep them outside? That's not love. If you're gonna have a pet, make sure that they have stuff too.

Nope...I dont have any pets. I would love to get a dog but we have no time to take care of one (hardly home) and my hubby doesn't want one.
