most likely randomly billed.

One girl got a $188 phone bill from joining all the phone-pin offers.

I did one of those by mistake and I think they just bill your cell phone company. Don't provide the pin if you don't want to be charged. and if you are i think you just type STOP back to the number and it will cancel the subscription. Not sure if it will still charge you >.<

I would be very careful about giving out my cell phone number for a chance to earn .50 cents or so. Once they begin calling and/or texting the charges can add up very quickly. Never give personal information such as that to anyone over the internet without knowing all of the details. When the first thing that pops up is a screen that says "enter your cell phone number", I automatically pass.

I did mine on an old prepaid phone and cancled it right away.. not like they can bill it anyways lol. Maybe thats why i didnt get credit or maybe i cancled too soon. I hate giving away my real phone number because i get stupid spam calls all thruout the day and night.

definitely read the fine print. alot will tell you exactly what you're going to be charged. Some are 99cents per message sent/received and some are a monthly subscription of 9.99/mnth.
