AAAAAHH I Shouldn't Have Typed The Hash Tag #

I think the little tick, tack, toe sign is also called the hash tag.    Anyway, yesterday when I was trying to complete my daily email, I typed the captcha.  I tried being very thorough by also including the hash tag  '#'  which was part of the code.     After spending my allotted time on the page, I was given an error.    My immediate thought was, O.K., no hash tag required.     It was so nice to be given the opportunity to complete another email by refreshing the page.  I succeeded the second time.    When typing captchas, keep in mind that you probably should not include symbols with the code.

it worked with a hashtag for me. but I forgot to do the email yesterday.

I experienced the same issue but I simply clicked the email again and I was given another capcha.

The hashtags ones are weird. I think there is an error in whatever they think the correct solution is. I just keep refreshing until I get a different option

Actually, it worked for me. I'm not sure why it worked for some and not for others. Glad you were able to try again.

Sometimes it does want the hash tag!  It's really confusing.

I dislike th hastag ones as well. It usual takes me @ 2 tries to complete!

I haven't seen those as I usually refresh til I get an "easier" captcha... some are hard to read and I dislike the commercial ones

It depends, because I have used them in the past and it works. maybe it was just an error, that needs redoing.

You may be right.  I very seldom see them so I forget to ignore the symbols.  Maybe I'll try refreshing if it happens again.

I usually do not include numbers, symbols or punchuation in my captcha's.  If there are too many of these in the code I refresh and get new code.

sometimes the captchas are weird, so I just hit refresh until I get one that makes sense (or that I can read).  This month, however, most of the captchas have been incredibly simple to read.
