What Do you Do With Leftovers?

Hi,
My brother eats leftovers for lunch the next day. We always eat our leftovers.  We don't waste food.

if we have leftovers,hubby eats them later in the day or the following day..i dont usually do leftovers..and i usually just fix enough for the one meal..so we dont usually have any leftover

We used to bring our leftovers to my mother who had an apartment in an assisted living facility.  They provided three meals a day, so she didn't have a stove.  We brought leftover casseroles, soups, salads, homemade pizza, etc.  She loved it.  Sometimes she just preferred to stay in her apartment and eat, rather than going to the dining room.  She died now, so we just freeze our leftovers or eat them for lunch the next day. I miss her.

Hardly ever have left overs, but when I do.  The make lunch or some other sort of dinner with them.

My husband likes most leftovers for lunch, but sometimes there's enough for another dinner (in a day or so).  If there's leftover beef or chicken, I make stew or chili with it.

I usually make enough to have left overs because my work is only five minutes away so i like to come home and save some money at lunch time.

I never throw away any leftovers.  I put them in the refrigerator and serve them the next day.  And for instance when I make chili I usually have enough for several days.  It still tastes as fresh as it did the day I made it.  I never waste food.  Too expensive to do that.

I usually throw them in the fridge and sometimes they get eaten, sometimes they don't....

If there are any leftovers my husband takes them for lunch the next day. If there is a lot something like lasagna I'll freeze it and we'll eat it again the next month. I hate wasting food since it's costing more and more these days.

I guess it depends on what the leftovers are. For instance after Thanksgiving, I have so much leftover that I refridgerate everything individually so people can take what they want and heat it up as a meal. If there's a load of turkey left over which I suspect will not get eaten in the next 3 days, I wrap it up tight and then freeze it. Sometimes I take some out to make pies etc. If on an averaqe meal there is a portion left over, I place the whole portion in a tub and refridgerate it for my husband to take to work. Occasionally I freeze the whole tub if I suspect it might not get eaten. Hardly anything goes to waste in my house!

My husband normally eats our leftovers from dinner for lunch the next day.  We usually don't have much food that goes to waste in our home.
