Doctor bills
« on: July 16, 2014, 02:39:03 am »
Do you find that  you visit the doctor so much that your bills have piled up so much that you have to stop going. I am at that point now.

I am paying on my bills via payment plans.  So in the fall i will start making appointments again.

Deductibles are so high, unless i have to have surgery i cannot seem to reach it, even as much as I go to the doctor.

I hate going to doctors. Partly for that reason. Every time I turn around, this test is not covered, that test is not covered, so what the hell is covered? So, I have not been to the doctor in a while.

Without good insurance, it is impossible to seek good medical help.  Sad.

I do not go to the doctor.  I don't have the money.  And where I live they won't even see you until you pay them.  So you can't have a bunch of bills piled up.  A doctor visit is $95 and you pay that before they even take you to the back.  Then if they do blood work or something like that you have to pay that before they will see you again.

It's a shame most things don't seem to be covered.  There is always the co-payment for the visit, the any type of test always costs more.  Then they wonder why more people don't go to the doctor as often as they should.

We have too many doctor bills and one will last a long time since we only pay them $50 dollars a month and we owe over $4,000 but that is all we can afford since we are on social security.

Currently I am still on my husband's insurance plan, but I am going thru a divorce so soon I will not have coverage. I am REALLY worried about what my insurance will cost. I am SO glad that Obama felt he needed to get involved and make insurance completely UN-affordable!!!
