That sounds interesting. History isn't something I read much, but it is fascinating. Right now I am reading Jane Eyre. It is rapidly becoming one of my favorite books.

Reading ' Never Go Back' by Lee Chlld - the 18th (I think) in the Jack Reacher series and The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt.  Just finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and The Poison Tree by Erin Kelley.

Gone Girl was an unusual mystery - lots of material there for a book club discussion; Poison Tree - did not enjoy as much - just couldn't identify with any of the characters.
I know Never Go Back will be a gripping one because I have read 17 others in the series to date.
If you are a mystery/thriller fan you'll love this series.  The main character is very offbeat and fascinating.
I'm always on the lookout for new authors to read.

I haven't read a book in years.  The only thing I read is the newspaper, a few sports magazines and content on the internet.

Reading books is how I got through family functions when I was a teenager.  I do like certain categories but I defiantly have to be interested in the story topic.

I am not reading anything right now but I am looking to start a new book. I do like romance suspense and paranormal romance.

I am reading "Chasing Dirty Money" which is tied to a new project starting at the end of August related to anti-money laundering and financial investigation. After that I may brush up on a few excel spreadsheet books but may sneak in a book called "The Dark Fields" for (guilty) pleasure. I  have several investing books earmarked for down time waiting in my car.  My next in-the-car book is "Value Investing" by Benjamin Graham (endorsed by Warren Buffett) and I have a few books on foreign exchange trading that are waiting to replace it that I would like to finish before year end. I always try to read my kid's books before they go back to school but I have already read everyting they have slated for this semester.

I am reading a book called Katherine by Anya Seton.  I like historical fiction and non-fiction.  I also like several other different types of books.  I am sorry for those who do not read books.  I think you miss a lot in life.  I also read the Bible and many other books by Christian authors.
