You can do a search in your area for flyer distributor jobs, on sites like simplyhired.com or indeed.com. Looks like it could be a great part time job.

I have never heard of a flyer distributor.  Sounds like a fun part time job in the summer time.

I am not to sure about a flyer distributor.  You can try goggling it and maybe something will come up other wise you could try going to a business (one that is big enough) and ask if they need someone to advertise for them.  I guess there are people out there that need that service.

Maybe through a non profit organization. They must pay someone to distribute their flyers.

Sounds like a interesting job. I never knew that the people who leaves the pizza flyers on my gate and car were called that. Who knew, nice to know. I think maybe monster.com could have some info. Good luck.

In my neck of the woods, the only flyers that I see consistently being passed out are the ones from real estate agents.

I suggest you call up a few real estate agents (or whatever businesses that are using flyers to advertise in your area) and offer your services.

If you happen to know a business that frequently passes out flyers I'd try there first. Otherwise you're probably going to have to search the internet for that job.

Contact your local ad agencies and print shops to see who's hiring.  I expect it's a tricky job and best done in big cities.  Most stores and malls I've seen have notices prohibiting solicitors on their properties so you can't just go to Walmart and put them on windshields.

I hate finding flyers on my door or having solicitors come to my door.  In my area we get a weekly bunch of flyers in the mail.  Walgreens still puts them in the local paper, but I don't take the paper.  I wish they'd use the mail too.  I might shop there if I knew what was on sale.

What is the best way to get a job as a flyer distributor?

I do not think that is an actual job.  Sometimes people have flyers they distribute and will pay somebody one time a certain amount and you do it and it takes as long as it does.  I would strongly suggest not putting them on people's cars in a parking lot.  That makes me really mad and I know people have been jumped on for that when they were caught.  I know I would say something if I caught somebody jerking my wiper blade up to put trash under it.  Besides that I usually just take it off and throw it in the parking lot.  If the store (usually Walmart) has a problem they can watch their video and go after the person who put in on the cars.

countrygirl12, your post made me laugh.  Thank you.  I worked for a payday advance company a while back that had us out doing flyers in a local shopping plaza.  The store owners did call and complain, but our manager only told us A) go ahead and hit a different plaza and B) let some time pass and go on back to that one - because once the flyers are out there, even if they are complaining the ad has been seen.  We were told that if you get 300 of them out there and get 3 customers, even that is company growth.
