I only let my kids spend the night at my mother's house or their father's family's house.

I have let my children have sleepovers with friends since they were old enough to ask and they are now seventeen and fifteen years of age. There are a few caveats, though. I need to know/meet the parent who will be in charge of the house on the night my children will be sleeping over. I do not allow last minute sleep over requests...these have to be made three hours in advance and I need to see my children during the three hours prior to their sleepover. Short notice allows for children to possibly hide altered/heightened states...don't want them heading down that path, They may not have a sleepover if they have any kind of athletic endeavor the next day.

My dad don't allow me to invite my friends over for sleeping over, but he let my youngest sister invite her friend over.  But he will now allow us to go anybody house to sleep over.

When my husband and I have kids I don't know how willing I will be..When I was younger I slept over at my friends houses all the time and it was very easy to get away with anything. I was a little wild and had friends whos parents were the "fun" parents.. You just have to be careful.
