I hope this does not become an issue for me, however, I would go with implants instead of dentures...

I hope my teeth last the goal... both of my parents (in their 80's) have and use their teeth and I hope I'll follow along.

Thank you everyone for all the interesting information about dental implants that have been provided in your posts on this topic. I know only one person who has had this procedure done and, in spite of the high cost, she was extremely happy with the results. As for me, as I am approaching 60, I still have all but two of my natural teeth. I have been diagnosed with gum disease for some years now, but regular cleanings and the routine use of a water pik has kept that in check.
