Restrictions on Videos

The restrictions placed on some of these videos is pretty ridiculous. Just had one this morning for wine and it was restricted for me.....seriously? I'm nearly a half century old and I can't watch a video about wine?? Oh brother!!

I have DirecTV but I can't watch a video on DirecTV.  I'm either too old or too female.

There are some videos that are restricted in my region. Not sure what that means. Maybe there was a certain time frame before they are expired. Hope for luck next time.

Yesterday it seemed as though all videos except for the HyprMX were restricted, even the Oreos!
Today was much better and I was able to get my 5 videos in.

Funny some of you should bring this up because I been meaning to also.  More and more I have been restricted from videos due to age and/or gender.  I don't know why this would be so.  If you have income to spend, why an advertiser would restrict is a mystery!  It is also very frustrating.  It has actually irritated me several times.  I actually feel like it is discriminatory, and that is a problem.

I can understand the alcohol-related ads being restricted to viewers over 21 but I'm over 40 and it won't let me view them!  Apparently I'm too old to drink?  Or maybe they think women don't drink?

I find the restrictions on video to be very disturbing. Perhaps I'm not the demographic they are trying to reach, but just maybe I know people who are.  Maybe I want to subscribe to Microsoft Word 365 but how will I know if I can't watch the video.  Its discrimination.  Its offensive..

restrictions :descrimination, then what is the
right term to use?

I stopped using any of those videos. I
use on a daily basis HyprMX. They load,
I watch, they pay. Again than you Fusion Cash.

Instead of getting frustrated, I move on.

I couldn't agree more... I look at it like this: if they want to restrict us from viewing the product for whatever so called reason, I do not need to tell anyone about their so-called 'product' or purchase it period.

I've attempted every video up there this afternoon & after filling out the year born/ gender guestion, I get "No video available."  response.   Not even any kind of restriction message.  That happened even on the Oreo one.    I think it is a glitch because I usually don't get the restriction messages on the Oreo.

I agree, most of those videos seems to be restricted to Male audiences only.  I am either too old or too female for them LOL it is frustrating

I'm getting it real bad today. I used to be able to watch the Nat Geo and Oreo's videos but not today. It won't let me. The only thing I'm getting credited for are the HyprMX videos. I'm happy I can still make my 5 cents but come on. It's way past ridiculous at this point.

I have also been restricted due to age and gender on several videos.  Some of the videos don't even make sense why I would be restricted.

I was restricted from the Mobile video. So I'm female? It doesn't mean that I'm not interested in taking care of my car.

I have never had the Oreos restricted but a good many of the rest of them are restricted for me.
