Force yourself to relax
Plan a spa day or maybe just schedule in an hour massage
one small step at a time

Tell me about it.  I remember when vacation meant I got to play video games or go outside and enjoy the weather.  Now it seems like I go on vacation so I can take care of my normal activities that have been put on hold due to work.  I don't get it.

I hear that a lot of people's vacations are similar to yours. We have to force ourselves to take real vacations and relax.

One thing about laying around the house is that you think of things you could be doing. It may be better next time to get away from your home and go somewhere so that you can really enjoy yourself and the day.

Run! Wake up early and run to a nice hotel and check in. Don't answer your cell phone and hire a nurse in case of emergency and leave her or him to watch over your family. Get a security guard to watch in case of something awful. Run I tell you they are coming for you. :monkey:

As long as you're home and not accustomed to it you'll find something to do. Try making a to do list with things that will make your day feel more like a vacation.

Way too funny!  I am the same way.  I just finished one project and have the rest of today and tomorrow free. So I have been catching up on my monthly posts.  Working on Point to Clicks. Sorting through e-mails. Getting ready to go to the gym. Planning on taking care of two home projects. Doing laundry.  Looking at a part time project that I can do when the other projects are slow...at my own leisure. Walking the dogs. Getting a little bit ahead on my day time project for Monday. Cleaning my study. Getting things ready to cook for the week's lunches. Fixing my bed. Is there no end?  Can we no longer take time to just relax?  Or is it all just preparing for making work easier. Kind of sick when you look at it!

It does seem to go that way with work always needing to be done, but I recently got a cut in my hours and now I really want to go do work...

Vacations rarely involve rest or relaxation, you can always find something to do. Have a good time on your vacation :)
