Do you think you can survive a week without tv?

I don't think I know I can live without my TV, I have especially during hurricane Sandy. I find my life to be a lot more effective whenever I take time away from the tv. Even though I at times make up for it through Netflix, prime or the internet.

I actually don't watch much TV anyway...
My husband and I don't have cable, but we do use Netflix and Hulu. Even then, we don't sit in front of the TV for hours watching shows. We may watch a show before bed, but I don't even think I would feel a difference if I were to never turn the TV on for a week, or even longer.

As a few other people have mentioned...no internet would be more difficult though!

We have tvs but only a dvd player with it....no tv stations.....we do just fine!  I think people are slaves and squander their time wastefully!

I think that is a great idea! I'm sure I would get more done or go out and do more instead of watching tv for hours after work! I've been meaning to start crocheting again for the fall so I may just do that instead of watching tv

No I couldn't last 10 minutes without it I would get bored especially at night time

Well, as long as I have food, water, and oxygen...yeah I think I could.  Hmm...maybe I just don't understand questions like that...that seem unrealistic to me.

Fortunately I have.  We had a bad storm last winter that knocked our power out for a week.  No TV.  No computer.  It was a loonnnnggggg week.

I probably could go a week, but I prefer not to.  I pick and choose what I give undivided attention, but like either TV or the radio for background noise much of the time.  We have this great technology associated with it, and I want to take advantage of it.  I probably average about 5 hours of TV per day, mostly in the morning and the evening...not so much in between.

I cannot survive without my tv. I enjoy watching tv daily and i am home more after work since i deal with pain
daily.  I do other things as well, but still need my tv.

I could live life, in it's entirety, without television. I watch about twenty minutes of television a week, on average, and I feel bad about that. I would much rather spend time with my family than get glued to television and the mind-robbing dreck that airs on it. I work a minimum of seventy hours per week and am blessed if I get six hours of sleep in a night.  My free time is often spent preparing for whatever project I am on, making more money or here at fusion cash! If I have time I like to spend it reading something other than technical manuals but generally vascillate towards books that teach me new ways to invest or better ways to organize my life or books that show me how to make more money.

Can I have my laptop,tablet or smartphone? Sure who needs a TV.
