Are you scared of the lightning?

I have always been afraid of lightning as long as I could remember.  If it comes a storm before I go to work, I can a cab.  I wish I was not so afraid.  Hope everyone has a good day.

I used to be terrified of lightning but not so much anymore.  My Mom was the worst person I've ever known as far as being terrified and guess she passed it on to us kids.  She would unplug everything in the house and hide in a room with the least amount of windows.  Until she found out that it wasn't safe to be in a car during a lightning storm, she would go sit in the car till the storms passed.

Lightning is not my friend.  I would much rather hear thunder than to see lightning.  I had a bad experience with lightning and since that time it frightens me.

I wouldn't say I am scared of it, just cautious. I remember a few years ago we had a huge lightning storm. It was very cool to watch.

I used to be deathly scared of lightning then i pretty much got over it . Even to the point where i went for walks while we had lightning storms. Just didn't bother me anymore

I don't like lighting at all especially hearing the loud thunder afterwards.  Most of the time it wakes me up and keeps me up at night.

One of the reason that I like about winter is I don`t see any lightning.

I respect lightening. While it can be a beautiful sight, its not something I'd want to come in contact with.  If I'm on the lake fishing, I'm off the lake as fast as possible.

Seems like lightning don`t bother kids as much as I do. Are they tough or don`t know anything about it?

Only if I'm sitting close to the windows and when it's that kind of flash that scares the living daylights out of you!

I wouldn't say I am scared of it but I do have a lot of respect for lightening

I am not scared of lightning per se but being in Florida I certainly have a healthy respect for it.  It has long been believed that Florida is the lightning capital of the world but now I read that Rwanda actually has 2 1/2 the lightning strikes of Florida.  But we have enough for me to pay attention lol.

I'm 30 years old and it still terrifies me. Houston had a bunch of scary storms last week. D;

I love seeing lightning and I love when there's a storm. I even like the sound of thunder.
