What do you do when the power goes out at night?

I go to sleep.

depending on the time of "night"  if it is really late i will just go to bed and try to sleep.  if its to earlier in the evening I will just read by candlelight     or a flashlight !!!

Depends on what time it is.  If it's early in the evening, I usually pull out my Kindle and do some activities on it, or read.  But,if it's late at night - I just go to sleep!!

Sleep.  We had a power outage a few days ago and it happened around 7.  I sat up and talked with my family for most of time but when it started getting closer to 10, I was considering just going to bed.

I just take time and actually talk to family which you have no choose. Lol.  Also, good time to go out and eat.

Sleep...cause there's nothing else I can do. Can't watch tv nor get on the internet, but sometimes I light candles and walk around the house, look out the window and sigh, lol.

If I can go to sleep--fine.  Works for me.  If not, I keep an LED lantern and a battery-operated radio for just this purpose.

When I was a kid I used to be scared, but I love to sit up and tell ghost stories while the candles are lit.

If it is close to bedtime, I go on to bed.
