push the wrong button

when you push the wrong button on a computer, interesting things happen. Unusual screens pop up and you didn't want them on purpose.

You can also tend to lock down your computer so you can't do anything.

Yeah, or you can have a couple of kitties that like to use your keyboard as a pillow, LOL.

I know what you mean: "We all make mistakes...one time or another". I recommend you sit down in front of your computer or at a public computer and press all those buttons and see what happens. Some of them, I do not know what they are for.

I type pretty fast, but my fingers have also gotten wider as I've aged and put on a little weight, so periodically I do make the mistake and open (or close) something accidentally. Very frustrating.

wow.  I just pushed the wrong button as I was going through the HyprMX video as I multi-task between tabs....I usually have the HyprMX video open in one tab and then the Forum in another so that I can post in the forum while watching the video.

I closed the wrong tab and had to start the HyprMX video over.  Shoot, I was at 8 of 10 when it happened!

Oh well...

Would not do that on a public computer.  Most of them you have to show ID and sign in while you are using it.  if you tear it up it could cost you a lot.

Just pressing random buttons can break your computer especially if you push them in specific orders

My most frustrating accidental button hit comes when I'm typing away and my right pinkie hits a key that deletes what I typed since the last pause.  If I don't notice it it can be a real hassle.  I transcribe my original crochet patterns and have deleted whole sections, without knowing it.  Arrgh!  :angry7:
