Bad things happen to good people, good things happen to bad people all the time.....we have to love and be there for each other, not sure where it was written in the bible, but the scrips says.....

  If a man say, “I love God,” and hateth his brother, he is a liar. For he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? I think it may be 1 John 4/20.....

I can't prove there is a God, but I can see my fellow man every where and don't take time to say hello.....we all have free will even if we don't know it...we make our own decisions every day......

I'm not sure what your post was in reference to...but people have the right to live like they choose as long as they don't hurt someone else.....then the law gets involved and who know what will happen upon death....

Mill are you aware that many in this world justify the evil they do?You wanna quote the bible but then say people can live as they want as long as they dont hurt anyone.Well again i ask you RU aware many justify their evil?

So i guess  what we need here is a government that is righteous.Mankind certainly has proven he cant figure it out.God has given him time to do so.You see the results.

The belief that everything happens for a reason is simply a coping mechanism that people use when bad things happen.

By that same token,you can say unbelief in God is a coping mechanism for people who do not want to accept the Word of God.

That's not a coping mechanism, that's just logical. The same way that someone who accepts the word of God, also believes in God.
