I am 100% British. I was born and raised in England. I met my husband who was active duty military and posted to the UK for 9 years, and we married when I was 35. My husband is half Philippino, half African American so our kids are a right hodge-podge of nationalities! I like to remind my husband that I was in fact a pure-bread before he met me however he seems to think he saved me from the gutter! We all have different recollections don't we?

When I was in third grade my classmates compared nationalities and I didn't know mine.  Mom's answer was "You were born in America, you're American."  The kids then asked if I was an Indian.  When I said no I got teased for being a "Polock". 

Mom was the daughter of immigrants and hated it.  However the only people who can claim to be truly American are full-blooded American Indians.  Even they appear to have migrated here in ancient times. 

These days I'm into genealogy.  Mom's parents came from what is now the Ukraine.  Grandpa spoke Polish so maybe I have some Polish after all.  Mom wouldn't talk about it so it's hard to research that line.  Dad's side however gives me my own United Nations.  There's American, Canadian, French, English, Irish, maybe Scottish, Dutch, Belgium German and a Brazilian born German.  I recently found out that one of the English lines may actually be from Scandinavian. 

If anyone wants to know more, but doesn't want to do their own research you can go to Fiverr and hire a genealogist.  I freelance through that site and I can assure you they are for real.

On my fathers side of the family My grandfather was French and grandma was part Dutch and about 2/3 Indian.  and on my mothers side, grandpa was part English and some Indian. Hi 6th, generation grandfather was born here in the USA. My grandmother was born here but her parents come from England. So I am a Natural born citizen of th good old USA. Proud of it.

I am an American but who knows what else I have in my back round.  This question is a little difficult, but my parents are dead and I have an aunt that I am in contact with  but I never really thought what my back ground and nationality is until I saw this question maybe I can find out for sure by doing a family tree or something.

My parents (and their parents and their parents and their parents) were born in the USA as I was too. My family lineage goes back 7 generations and has european and native american roots.
