Deaths in the family.
« on: September 23, 2014, 08:19:53 am »
We had a funeral for my aunt who passed away a couple weeks ago. Last week we had an uncle and a cousin who passed away, and this week one of my cousin's wife has stage 4 cancer that the Dr. gave her about 2 weeks to live. All of them live in the same city/town in Utah. All I can say is WOW, WOW, and more WOW. I am not complaining but just wish the Lord would give our family a little break in between.  Don't take us all in a months time!!!

That is a lot to deal with in such a short period of time.  I am very sorry for all your losses....=(

WOW!  I really don't know what to say, sorry just doesn't seem enough.  Hopefully things will turn around and some good luck will come your family's way.  I am so sorry for all your losses.

I'm sorry for your losses but remember we are merely passing through on our way Home.  May they all rest in peace and may you and your remaining family members find peace through the Lord.

I do know how you feel and I promise, you do come out the other side. In the year 2000, my closest colleague at work died of breast cancer - she was only 28. About 3 months before she died, her mother died of liver cancer. My other colleague left work early on a Friday and on the Monday morning, there was a message left at our reception to say her mother had just hours to live. She died later that day and my poor colleague didn't even know her mum was ill. In the same year my boss lost her dad, our payroll clerk lost her mum, our accountant lost her mum. It was such a terrible year I went through a time of depression. But eventually, I saw light at the end of the tunnel and I came out the other side. It took about 2 years.

I'm very sorry to hear that. That's rough to deal with those deaths in such a short amount of time. My great aunt died in December 2011, then my grandpa, mom's dad, died in February 2012. Then my grandma, dad's mom, died in July 2012. That was hard enough so I can't imagine what you're going through right now.

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation.  While I haven't dealt with anything like this, I believe God does things for a reason.  Stay strong and I hope you and your family can find some peace.

Thank you all for your support, comfort and word of encouragement. Sometimes I feel like talking to people outside my family circle gives me strength. You guys are family to me now. Only time will heal thanks for thinking of me and my family.

It seems like it's been the "month of death" for me, my family, friends and coworkers as well. It's a strange thing, but you just keep going on until it gets better.
