Definitely. I think the only problem that I might have with it would be how my family would react to it... If you consider Hispanic to be different from Caucasians from Northern European decent, then that would be the race I'd most likely date. Otherwise Indian (from India).

the color of ones skin shouldnt have any thing to do with the heart --in my opinion --if some one treats you good and respects you then the race they are shouldnt matter

i am not against it but I don't really feel its that great either. If I could meet someone I had a soul connection with and really got along with then I would really be comfortable.

For me, I don't even see color or race. All I see are, are they kind and considerate to me, to they genuinely care about me, would they sacrifice their own wants and needs for me and our children and are they selfless. In return, I love irrespective of background or race. For the record, I am white and am married to a half Asian/half black man. I am proud to be married to my husband, I really don't care what wrapping he has!

I'm "colorblind".  I'm more concerned with the quality of a person.  :peace:

As long as we get along, we should do fine.

Color, race don't matter. What matters is the person inside. Love, understanding will take you a long way.

A desire to date outside my own ethnicity has not been a concern. Finding someone out of my own ethnicity willing to date me is another matter. So far, I've only dated within my own race generally (mine is a little muddled).

I think people close-minded enough to not date a person outside of their race could potentially be missing out on a soulmate!!!  :( So it would not be a problem for me. I'm not with someone of a different race at the moment, but it would never be something I would rule out. :)

I can only see one little problem with "dating" outside of ones' race and that is if the two people fall in love, marry and have children.  It seems to me the "children" are the ones who suffer in this type of relationship not the parents.

I have never dated outside of my race in the past. I am more open to it now, because I feel that by limiting myself to one small fraction of the population I could me missing out on a wonderful person.
