do you give out halloween candy

No, I stopped giving out Halloween candy a number of years ago.  Since there are so many strange people in the world and unfortunately Halloween seems to be a time when they tend to come out of the wood works.

I would love to give out halloween candy but I live way out in the country with only about two neighbors for five miles.

Yes we give out candy every year, and  my kids go trick or treating! Last year we purchased this massive spider which is about 3 feet wide and when you make a noise or walk past, it jumps up and makes your heart miss a beat. The only sad thing is we decided to switch it off last year because it kept scaring the little kids and we felt bad.

I would love to give out candy and also love to see especially the younger kids excitement  but I live in a rural area and no one comes by here.  Also several years ago our downtown area shops started sitting out and giving candy so mostly people take their kids there anyway.  You see fewer and fewer out in the neighborhoods anymore.

I don't give out candy anymore because there's not a lot of kids in my neighborhood.

Nope. never decorate the house. Kids always skip us. Not really celebrate halloween

I get a few here and there since I moved to a suburb a few years back.  Two years I was out at practice and wasn't home, the others, probably got 10-20 kids that stopped by.  I keep some candy on hand just in case.  Then the leftovers are saved for Christmas cookie baking a few weeks later.

Periodically my family gives out candy. There are a bit more little kids nowadays in the neighborhood, so we've been consistent the past few years. For a period of time, we were getting an influx of a bit older kids and we lost motivation to continue for this reason.

not usually..i usually go with my granddaughters,but i am gonna but a little candy for a couple of kids that live in front of us now..they want to show me their costumes..they are 3 and 5..so i will have some candy for them

I normally do but I won't this year; too busy.  I will be making a few bags for our neighbour's kids across the street though since we've become close with the family.

Yes, I send the candy to the school with my kids to share up with her class...
