I have an artificial.  So much easier and they don't have strange gaps in the branches.

I always use my artificial tree. I have never had a real tree before. Maybe when we get a house again I will

I agree that real trees smell so nice but it is more convenient to put up an artificial tree as you don't have to worry about watering the tree and I can keep the artificial tree up longer.

We have always had a real tree, and we get it the weekend right after Thanksgiving.  We put it in the stand right away and keep it well watered, and keep it up until after New Year's.

i love real trees but would never have one in my home due to the hazards associated with them such as fires not only that but they drop needles all over the floor.  this will be the second year that i sadly will not have my artificial tree up having a two year old who likes to get into everything means its dangerous and would be time consuming trying to keep him out of it.

We are Jewish so I don't have a tree but I used to love going to my friends houses and smell the fresh (until they began to bother my asthma that I got as an adult). To me though the fake just don't look right most of the time.

I like the real trees because of the wonderful pine smell. I remember when I was younger going with my mom and dad to go looking for a Christmas tree. That was so much fun. These days I like the convenience of an artificial tree because you don't have to go out and try to look for the perfect tree out in the cold.

I've always loved real trees.  We always went and cut our own when I was a kid.  But, as an adult, I bought a fake tree and while my kids are little, I think that's what we'll keep using.  Maybe when they get older we'll get a real one.  Right now we only have the fake tree out a few days before Christmas and put it away right away.  Too much temptation for the kids. Lol
