It's easy enough for people to say that the crisis is blown out of proportion. But when big corporations start spending time and money on developing new protocols and safety precautions to protect their workers, you know it's serious, because they won't be duped by fear-mongering. I work for a large company, and they are implementing new protocols, hiring more people, training, etc., in preparation for an ebola epidemic. So others can hide their heads in the sand, but I'm going to do everything I can to try to protect myself.

It could so quickly become an epidemic that could take over and become out of control. People need to be smart and be vigilant in their everyday activities. Hopefully, the current treatments will lead to a vaccine or cure.

I am not worry about Ebola because they already have a cure for it.  They already have cured three or four people, it is in the hands of the Lord.

I hope it doesn't spread, but the future is so unsure.

Are you sure that isn’t just acting in the interest of risk mitigation, rather than some overall feeling on how serious of a chance an of Ebola outbreak? To me, it sounds more like an overall risk management policy, which would be common for big corporations. Spend a little upfront to safeguard the corporation from a potential risk of big losses in the future. I’m sure with the attention Ebola has received; a lot of corporations have evaluated their policies and safeguards against illness and disease spreading through the workforce.
