Other than turkey what kind of meat do you serve with dinner? Looking for some suggestions.

Ham is a really good alternative to have other than turkey. I rather have the ham because I don't care too much for turkey. Turkey is kind of dry.

Tofu? :) You can get some you stuff with mixed vegetables and cook in the oven just like you would do with a turkey. Of course it won't taste the same, but somewhere out there a turkey would be happy!

ham is a good alternative, because the turkey can be too dry sometimes, plus I'm not a big turkey fan. :turkey:

Ham is the big alternative that I've seen.  I would think if you wanted to be more creative, you could consider substituting duck for turkey.  Given duck hunting in the fall is a common activity, that would seem appropriate.  Not sure where you'd get that from, where ham is quite accessible in most grocery stores.

We actually do ham instead of turkey, but some people also do venison since it sorta falls into the time frame.  And, of course, you could do some sort of fish, but I don't know what.

I think a nice roast; like a crown roast or prime rib would be a great alternative!

I never serve Turkey on Thanksgiving.  I don't particularly like Turkey because it's too dry.  Give me a Capon or a Honey baked ham.

Ham is always good. Chicken is a good alternative. But my fav is steak (rib eye or filet mignon) or prime rib.
