I love Ovaltine!

Ovaltine is a better alternative. If you do decide to with regular chocolate or strawberry flavored milk, it obviously shouldn't be a part of his regular diet. One in a great while is fine, but Ovaltine is a much better option.

I personally drink almond breeze myself I don't want to give him that yet either. It's like training them to like sweets why give the sweet stuff if the will drink unsweetened?

i do on occasion buy flavored milk but i buy the trumoo variety because they use less sugar and is better for your child.

Young children, especially under 6-7 really shouldn't have flavored milk. A friend's cousin, when she was about 4 years old, ended up with several cavities because of chocolate milk. Young children also shouldn't have juice. All the sugars in both are really bad for such young kids and even when they get older the amount consumed per day should be very, very small. Kids need to learn healthy habits very early so they can get a better start on life.

I have never really liked milk but in order for me to drink it I definitely need to flavor it with sugar, coffee, or quick

Oval time is yummy. It also has vitamins added too. That's my fave and my daughter drinks it too.

I rather to give my kid plain than flavored milk, I won't mind if it is ice cream and add any kind of flavor to it
