"She Works Hard For The Money"
« on: November 04, 2014, 04:30:00 am »
If you could work in any job or professional field you would like, what would you pick and why?

Me, I finally decided over the last several years what I would like to do when I grow up.(Too bad I'm TOO grown up for this.)  I would go to school and then apply to Quantico to work for the FBI or a large police department as a criminal profiler.

What about you?

I had my own business for 25 years or so.

As i got older i found a security job in a nice area with great people.I am happy to do this now.

I had a cleaning business and did well with it.Built it up good in the 80s.Then competition came and i didnt feel like promoting it as much anymore.I still do a little on the side...but for the most part i am done.

Well I worked the last several years in customer service over the phone in a call center and it wasn't a fancy job but I loved it - I don't miss working though - like not having to go out into the world every day and spent most of my adult life trying to go to college and don't have any use for that anymore either lol.   :monkey:

Why can't you work towards that now? WHO says you're too grown up to do it?

I'm working toward being a business professor and motivational speaker. In addition to this I'd like to make a commercial for my affiliate marketing business and tour to promote my ebooks.

Wait a minute, I know who's job I want- I think her name is Susan. She is always on the Travel Channel traveling to different countries giving reviews on five star hotels and restaurants.  Once my kids are all grown I will at least inquire about what to do to get that type of job. Wouldn't it be nice to get paid to live in luxury? lol
