Black Friday Sales
« on: November 13, 2014, 06:26:21 pm »
Anyone have any Black Friday sale secrets they have come across? I found out today that Tractor Supply is putting their Arriat tie hiking boots that sell $99 regularly will be $69 on Black Friday. It hasn't been advertised yet, an employee told me about it because I was going tobuy a pair today.

I don't do Black Friday. But my nieces scout out all the sales ads and make lists.  When they get to the store, they all go in separate directions to retrieved their assigned gift purchases.  The husbands get a few things, then go stand in line, so they only have to wait one hour instead of four hours.  It works for them.

I hate to say it, but I really don't do Black Friday or Cyber Monday. I may hop on the bandwagon this year since I am building my own PC. So, I may find a few sales on parts and peripherals like a monitor or keyboard and mouse. Other than that, I will probably shop around the week of and after for sales.

My nephew is a HUGE Black Friday fanatic.  He is super excited all the sales have pushed the limit and are starting on Thursday evenings.  He gathers all the flyers he can find then he compares prices.

I really do not search for them since I never buy any of the BIG Items, when I can and I am in the mood I love going early to the mall and shop for what I need.  A couple of years ago I saved my $$ thru the year, so I could get my girls a good Christmas, and with the $350 i took I filled my tree all the way, got great deals on what my teenager girls wanted and need it it was GREAT

I usually shop on Black Friday, but I don't know of any secret deals.  I've just been looking at the previews of the ad scans.

If you want a ton of Black Friday deals, sign up on BradsDeals.com.  They sneak peek the deals before they're even out.  Tons of places - Amazon, Macy's, Nike, Target, Walmart, etc.

I always loved to go shopping for the deals on Black Friday, but the last few years people have become crazy at our local stores. I keep seeing terrible stories on the news of shootings and fights. I am starting to reconsider going to some stores, I think I can shop online and still get a good deal. I may just go to Tractor Supply this year and call it quits.
