Silent you sure are Satans delight.Thats where the rebellion started in Eden.Satans claim that humans didnt need God and can have their own independence without all his rules.

Then he also said in Job that man only serves God for selfish reasons. You give him things etc...plus his own life.

Jesus,Job and many others proved Satan a liar. The world conditions show man cannot govern himself apart from God.But you have freedom of choice and maybe you are happy to live 80 years...not give a dam about others or world conditions....Thats freedom???!!!!

You would have been better off being born NOT in Gods image.Kind of a waste to have intelligence, justice, love etc wasted on you!!!

You see, without doing things of charity for religious reasons, I am doing it with no reason other than to help people. I volunteer a lot of my time to the community I live in. I don't do it because it will get me into heaven (because I don't believe in that). I do it because I believe that people should help other people if they can without the idea that it will benefit them. I do it without any expectation of personal gain.

Is there anything wrong with spending the years I'm going to live helping people simply because I can? Personally, I think it's even better to do things purely out of kindness rather than "my religion tells me to help people so I'm going to only so I don't go to hell because that would suck". While I'm volunteering my time next week at Thanksgiving dinners held in my community, I'll keep in mind how selfish I am to be doing that without my goal being to make your god happy. I'll keep in mind that I'm not really helping anyone because I'm not doing it for your god.

Don't assume that just because I am not religious I do not help people, that just because I am free I do not care about the condition of the world. Helping is not exclusive to people of religious faith.

Silent...it is obvious you are turned off about religeon.....and RIGHTFULLY so...

MY point here is just because many religeons claim to serve God and follow the bible.THEY DONT!!!

Christendom makes the TRUE God look bad and HE has nothing to do with that.

You are wise in a way to NOT follow many of the false rules they teach.....but let me tell you and many here something....

If God had decided to destroy the human race from the start after man sinned, where would the human race be?It is NO injustice God allowed A&E to have offspring cos HE knew some of their offspring would love and obey HIM and how he was going to fulfill his populating this earth under his rule forever.

Christendom doesnt teach that. They teach NONSENSE!!Its easy to see why many are turned off about God.Again dont blame him.It is the manmade satanic system that has been allowed to rule for a short time.

But again if you are happy to live your 80 years and do your thing without acknowledging you have a gift in being alive....your decision

Thanx for listening!

Why is it that some people don't believe in Jesus Christ and still celebrate Christmas?

I am so sad my sister used to be a believer and now she can't even say the words "God Bless you, or Amen" I think my brother in-law twisted her mind !  >:( :'(

They say God is imaginary, ohhh but they do celebrate Christmas.  :present:

I don't celebrate Christmas because most people think that is when Christ was born but it wasn't.  Does anyone know why the Christmas tree and the exchange of gifts come from?  What where the reason of the three wise men to find Jesus?  Why would God ask people to go register in there home towns if it is freezing out side he wouldn't Jesus was born in a barn or what ever so it had to be warm enough so he wasn't even born in December.  It all came about through different types of religion who couldn't agree on anything and combined there two religions and came up with Christmas.  Look it up you will find it.

God did not ask them to go register.  That was man's doing.  And I am not sure why you think it had to be warm for Jesus to have been born in a stable.  You are like a lot of others (especially some that I work with) and just looking for a fight.  I for one will not give it to you.  I personally do not care what anybody else believes.  I know what the truth is.  I know what I believe.  And I do not have to justify what I believe to any one else.

Bethlehem 2014 years ago on 12/25 had El Ninno!!

Because it is a cold rainy season they had to have El Ninno otherwise shephards wouldnt be out with their flocks as bible claims they were.

And because God has made Jesus king of HIS kingdom it is much easier to look at Jesus as a babe in a manger to get that visual!

Silentscape, I commend you for the time and care and effort you take to help other people.  And you are totally right, I think, and your motives appear totally pure to me.  I think it's great, what you do.

Well certainly if this UNGODLY world obeyed the first 2 commandments...that are to Love God and neighbor.....i think that would answer and teach us whats right.

Maybe even Hitlers mom appreciated what he did too even tho he had no regard for God.

Because for many people Christmas has become a secular holiday.

For me celebrating has nothing to do with religion but a celebration of family. No matter how crazy life gets we can depend on being there for each on christmas

Christmas is a Christian Holiday. Christians around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who is our savior and our God. That is all there is to it.
