Winter Prediction
« on: November 19, 2014, 05:24:40 pm »
I predict that this winter will be very frigid. There will be a lot of below zero degrees and a lot of snow.

Being here in upstate New York, and experiencing two consecutive Snow Days, it is a pretty safe bet that this winter will be a doozy. Blizzard of 2014, anyone?

Oh no! Sounds like a repeat of last year! Here in Wisconsin, we had record low temperatures below zero with record low wind chills and the snow just would not stop last winter.

I hope you are wrong, but I don't think so.  We had a bad winter, lots of snow last year in PA.  Loot at the weather in Buffalo already and it's only November.

Here at 4500 elevation in NC mountains we have already been below 0 several nights. This is not unusual but normally occurs in Jan and Feb. This is way early for such cold. It's going to be rough.

Did any one get the 5 feet of snow like Buffalo, NY got?? My heart goes out to all of them!! I think some people got hurt and one may have even died. So sad and that is too much snow & cold to endure and it's not even December!!  :sad1:

I heard Buffalo already reach to 8 feet of snow. Remind people to reduce the driving speed.  :peace:

May sound funny to you guys who are in cold country but I think even in Florida its gonna be a cold one.  We might not have the harsh elements like snow and sleet but its already been down to 45 degrees (feeling like 42) and that is pretty cold for central FL.

Somewhere that will happen.  And other places will be unseasonably warm and sunny. lol.

I recently moved to the south but im originally from Chicago and I have heard from people up there saying how bad they were thinking this winter would be. For us in the south, northern FL, were in the 60's some days low 70's some days and sometimes mid 50's. So I have no idea how winter will be here, last year it didnt get cold tho till January and we actually had a few ice days which was weird
