Would it be cool to go back in time?

If I were to go back in time, it wouldn't be to change anything in my life - it would be more to go way back and observe historical events I might find interesting, or go way back to (safely) view a dinosaur in the flesh.

I'd be more interested in time traveling to the future to see how technology advances - will we end up like the Star Trek future vision, or more of the WWIII apocalypse version?  And depending on what I witness, would there be anything I could do when I return to the present to alter that destiny (if it's a bad one)...?

Absolutely I would go back in time...I have been my own worst enemy...I would stay married to my son's father and live happily ever after

No! If you were to go change something in the past, no matter how minor, it would change everything in the future. Plus, the old you would disappear after making the changes if you affected your own life. It really wouldn't be worth it because you wouldn't have learned whatever you learned from what you might want to change because it never would've happened so you obviously wouldn't remember it. Also, a time paradox is not a fun thing to explain, and I doubt it would be a good thing to experience. Watch Doctor Who. There's an episode on that. There would not be good results in changing the past.

No, as much as I might want to correct the "mistakes" there is no way of knowing how those "corrections" would affect the future.  Maybe I learned something from those mistakes that cause a disaster of a "new" future for me. 

I would like to go back in time as an observer to see different historical events (I loved the old "Time Tunnel" series when I was a kid even though it looks really awful now!).

No - I don't think I would like to go back.  Maybe I would change some of the things I did, but I would not want to go through some of the situations I experienced.

I don't think I would want to go back to change anything.
Not because I didn't make mistakes or do anything I shouldn't have, but because the things I've lived through have made me the person I am today.
And I'm ok with that.

YES and I would use it to make changes, so if there was a rule (like in the movies about time travel) where you could not change anything, I would break it!

At one time I would like to consider changing things in the past, but after seeing consequences illustrated in movies, maybe I'm not the best person to make decisions about what should need changing.
