Iron Man Race

I really enjoyed the video for Chocolate Milk and the Iron Man Race.

I was amazed at the swim.....  2.4 miles in the ocean with hundreds of other swimmers in very close proximity seemed to be almost dangerous..... I'm sure the athletes are watched closely, but the film footage had arms and legs thrashing through the water.

I can't imagine swimming that far in a pool in my own lane ; much less get out of the water and do a 112 mile bike ride AND then run a 26.2 mile race....truly amazing athletes!!  Kudos to all of the participants!

They showed the race last weekend on NBC. There are a lot of folks that don't make it to the end. I think you only have 17 hours to finish the whole thing which seems like a lot but is not when you think about how much you have to do.
