The Bible does not reveal whether God created life on any of the other planets in the universe. However, astronomers today have not found proof that life exists on any of these planets and, in fact, know of no planet besides the earth that is at present capable of supporting the life of fleshly creatures.
Purpose. Like all other created things, the earth was brought into existence because of Jehovah’s will (“pleasure,” KJ). (Re 4:11) It was created to remain forever. (Ps 78:69; 104:5; 119:90; Ec 1:4) God speaks of himself as a God of purpose and declares that his purposes are certain to come to fruition. (Isa 46:10; 55:11) He made his purpose for the earth very clear when he said to the first human pair: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” (Ge 1:28) There were no flaws in earth or the things on it. Having created all necessary things, Jehovah saw that they were “very good” and “proceeded to rest” or desist from other earthly creative works.—Ge 1:31–2:2.

This is not unexpected in the least.  When I was in college in the early 90's, astronomers first confirmed the existence of another planet within a star system.  Prior to that it was just theory that other planets (whether they were capable of sustaining life or not) even existed.

I figured it was only a matter of time for technology to advance to the point to be able to gather estimations of the compositions and atmospheres of those interstellar planets found.  All this means is that based on information gathered there is the potential for the planet to sustain sofe form of life as we currently understand it.

I, for one, would would be interested in attempting such a trip to check out such a planet.  Of course, we would have to have sufficient technology to make the trip sustainable as it would require several generations of humans to reach the closest one.  That means the ship would have to be completely self sustaining (growing own food, capable of replenishing oxygen, water, ad hoc repairs, propulsion of the ship, etc).  We are probably a couple millennia away from developing the technology for even attempting such a trip.  But I find it fun to wonder what it would be like if it were possible to travel to another planet in the universe just to see what it is like and experience it first hand.  It's much like the astronauts who had the opportunity to land on the moon, to step on that rock - must have been a life changing experience for each of them.

If there is another planet out there that is habitable - I think we should send all the "misfits" there so Earth can be once again the way God intended it to be!!

Maybe vacation travel I would like to go out to space, but I don't really have a desire to really move away to another country - much less move to another planet.  I am not an early adaptor and I will let others tell me what it's like, unless we have a Wall-E reality.

No thanks. I wouldn't want to interrupt my life for a planet I know nothing about. Even if I had information on it, I still wouldn't be interested in going there. Earth is where I live, and earth is where I'm staying until I die.

With estimates of another 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets in the observable universe, I would guess live exists out there somewhere.

Yeah that would be cool. I remember reading a book like that when I was in middle school.
