When you go to family or friends house do you snoop around, by going in their bathroom cabinet or closets?

Absolutely not, but I currently have a houseguest who seems to think it's okay.  In the past four days I'm pretty sure every cabinet, closet and drawer has been rifled through in my home.  Even my car was "searched".  I'm not sure what he was looking for but I can assure you he won't be invited back.

No, I don't snoop.  I can't be bothered.
I do the same thing if I need a motrin, or something, which I've done at my brother's house.

My neices & nephews when they were young - really young - would go through drawers, just looking out of curiousity.  Then I didn't mind, they were just exploring... but adults, it's just rude.

Not at all. That is so rude. Don't people have any courtesy or common sense any more?

What does this question and answers have to do with OFFERS? This should be on the Off Topic Board, don't you think?

no that's just weird and wrong and i would hope that they would have enough common courtesy to stay out of my cabinets as well.

I don't do that and I will tell you why.  My step dad use to snoop through all my stuff when I was a teenager and I told him that is my purse (I was almost 18) I told him I don't go through his wallet he said this is my house and there for everything in it is his, I paid rent and bought groceries, so i felt he was wrong.  Than years later we where at a friends house (I didn't live with him anymore) and he was snooping through there mail that was in embarrassing because everyone can see him doing it.

Yes, he's a relative.  He's 19 so I guess he'd probably fall into the "curious" category, but he's definitely old enough to know better!

No, because I would not want them to do that in my home; I only open cabinets if I need something and I ask for permission first.

He'd be leaving my home, like yesterday.

This should be on the Off Topic Board, don't you think?            I agree sfreeman8, but since it is under 'offers' and not 'off-topic', I will reply.    I agree with everyone's post on this thread.  It is beyond rude and an invasion of privacy.  And they might be trying to steal from you)  As far as little kids doing it, that is different, BUT, there parents should be teaching them manners , when visiting.
