It has been years since I went shopping on Black Friday.  The last time I went I was walking away from a pallet with a VCR in my hands and some jerk took it away from me and was gone.  Could have just as easily been my pocket book or something more important.  Thing is there was a huge pallet of the VCRs.  There was no since in him taking the one in my hand.  Then we were at the electronics department and I was pretty well blocked in and 2 men got in a fight.  Luckily it was just pushing and hitting but these days in would likely be gun shots or stabbing with a knife.  People are freakin crazy.

I refused to work this year on Black Friday.

just shop the day before Black Friday. or any other day of the year......or shop online n the safety of your home. I did find printer ink for half price the week before Thanksgiving. I have a canon printer. I grabbed the deal online.

The day before Black Friday is Thanksgiving and that is when they have moved the sales to.  And if you shop the day before the big sales it defeats the purpose of going to the sale.

I never go to Black Friday events.  The stampede of humans turns into savages. They will stomp you, walk over you without blinking an eye.  Going to any store on Black Friday is totally insane.  I did that years ago, but it wasn't anything like that and promised myself I would never do anything like that again.  I let my fingers do the walking while sitting in the comfort of my home.

I do not do Black Friday because the employees are going nuts with all the customers and I don't like crowds anyway.  It just isn't worth it to me.

I went to a Walmart trying to get one of their 1-hour guarantee sales (doorbuster, but instead of limiting # items, they only had the items marked-down for an hour and even if they ran out of that item, you got a rain-check for the sale price). I was there for a good 15-20 minutes trying to find the item... I was even told by an employee the exact wrong place to go (the actualy location was in the exact opposite direction than where I was shown). When I finally got there, the employee said that the sale only lasted an hour, and I had just missed it. But he checked his watch, saw it was 7pm on the dot, and decided that I had squeaked in on time, so gave me the rain-check after all.

Black friday has been getting worse and worse every year. I didn't really buy anything at all.

I have never wanted to save money bad enough to put myself through black friday at any store any where.  People (shoppers) are crazy and the store associates don't like dealing with it so they aren't very professional or cordial about it I don't believe.  No black friday for me unless I order online sitting in my jammies lol.

My son's girlfriend went black friday shopping and she had gotten a few good deals, but she said it was crazy. I guess if you like shopping it's worth it. But it is not for me.

I havent shopped on black friday in years.  having worked in retail for a long time, it was enough to put me off of it.  that and i've found nothing that was on sale low enough to make it worth fighting the crowds.
